Looking at the games that have already been released on App Store at the moment I can only think to myself that the indie developer is stuck in the shadow of large publishing companies like Chillingo.

It dawns on me now that trying to keep up with the £0.69p releases of games from EA is a near impossible task, as an Indie Developer you have to create something pretty special to be seen and trying to get a feature from Apple seems to be the only way to get noticed on the App Store.

Another thing to note about the App Store is how the new iOS 6 format has affected visibility of an app/game. Any recent releases do not have no where near as much clout as they would have on the old App Store format.

Hopefully in the near future we can have some of the success that other Indie Games have had in the past.
